As a local authority, you should fully support the Local Biodiversity Action Plans (LBAPs) and take account of them in all your decision-making, and your role in delivering education, training and business support.
Local authorities already have existing communication channels to reach local schools, residents and businesses. You should take full advantage of these channels to communicate the importance of biodiversity in your area.
