Why Get Involved?

Biodiversity Week is an opportunity for organisations across Scotland to join together to provide a nation-wide programme of events aimed at encouraging people to get and about and to become involved with nature in fun and exciting ways.

The resources provided by Scottish Natural Heritage help event organizers to promote public outreach events in a recognisable and consistent way.

When many organisations join together using the same messages, logos and promotional materials in this way it helps to emphasis the biodiversity message and makes the best use of existing communications creating a sense of something big happening across Scotland with which everyone in Scotland can take part.
